- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This hike starts in Waterton Park but crosses the BC border into Kishinena provincial park. It's a 22ish km loop which can be done either way. I opted to start at Wall Lake - it's basically uphill for the first half, through alpine Meadows and then across the pass. It will most likely be windy! There will be a bit of snowpack up there but it won't affect your hike. Take a lot of water. The views are amazing, you cross across the top of wall Lake. There is a scramble on the way down if you start at wall Lake, or on the way up of you start at forum Lake. I'd recommend a walking stick if your knees bother you at all while hiking as the terrain is loose across the pass and rocky everywhere else.By Joe P, January 21, 2017
